  • Figs - 500 g, washed and cut
  • Sugar - 1 cup (or more, depending on the sweetness of the figs)
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon (optional)

Cooking steps:
  1. Preparation: Wash and cut the figs into small cubes.

  2. Cooking: Add figs, sugar, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to a medium saucepan. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once the figs have melted and the mixture has become thick, reduce the heat.

  3. Preparation: Cook the mixture for another 20-30 minutes until the mixture becomes jam-like.

  4. Check the sweetness: Taste and add additional sugar to taste if needed.

  5. Remove from heat: When the fig jam reaches the desired consistency, remove from heat and allow to cool.

  6. Storage: Put the fig mixture into sterilized jars, close the lid tightly.

Enjoy this juicy and sweet jam for your breakfast, dessert or share with friends as a delicious snack. Delicious!
